003: Jodi Womack

Jodi Womack discusses building momentum in our lives, the three types of friends we must have (and when they are helpful), and the 30/30 rule to ensure we’re taking action and continuing to move forward.

Jodi Womack, M.A., Co-Founder and Author, Womack Company

Jodi Womack started her first company because she saw a need in her business community. She attended local networking events and thought they were DREADFUL. So she started her own. It started off as a cocktail party with 13 girlfriends that all owned their own companies, or were senior managers in larger organizations. Since then, she’s hosted business gatherings as she traveled to New York, London, Zurich and beyond. As a result of producing her own events, she’s created an online coaching and training company with her husband, Jason, that teaches business savvy professionals how to “Get Momentum” in work and life. (www.GetMomentum.com)  Jodi and Jason’s first book together is titled, Get Momentum: How To Start When You’re Stuck. (Wiley, 2016).

Though based in the Ojai Valley, California, Jason and Jodi run their consulting firm together, globally independentally… meaning they can set up an office anywhere in the world they have an audience to speak in front of during the day (and a hotel with WiFi at night!). Let’s talk about how to get momentum…

This episode is sponsored by NutriFitt.

I tried NutriFitt’s whey protein supplement after meeting the founder and hearing his journey and commitment to quality. I like to support up and coming businesses so I gave it a try and was amazed. It mixes immediately and the chocolate flavor actually tastes like chocolate, not like some chemical engineering committee’s overdone attempt. It has no artificial sweeteners, colors, or preservatives. Plus, it includes probiotics and is easy on the stomach.

The true taste test? My teenage daughter even likes it.

There are a lot of supplement brands on the market, NutriFitt happens to be my favorite.

Because you’re awesome and a listener of Imperfect Action you save 15% on every order, just use the code TAKEACTION (one word) at checkout.

(My personal favorite: Double chocolate whey protein.)
